Please welcome Ronayne Marsh-Brown

Monday, 02 October 2017 19:19

We are delighted to announce that RONAYNE MARSH-BROWN has this evening put pen to paper and signed for The Saints.

Ronayne is a 32 year old defender who plays either at left back or centre half. Marsh-Brown started his career as a school boy at Brentford, before being offered professional contracts at Gillingham and Reading. However, he decided instead to go to Holland and join RKC Wallwijk under Martin Jol. Following three years in Holland, Ronayne moved on to Bruges in Belgium before returning to the English Football League with Crawley. Spells at Macclesfield and MK Dons under Paul Ince then followed, before moving into non-league with Welling, Maidenhead, Harrow Borough, Lewes and winning the Ryman Premier League with Sutton United.

Ronayne then signed for Chalfont St Peter and more recently Bedford Town where he was also Assistant Manager until departing in early September.

Manager Matt Clements added this evening: "We are really pleased to add depth and quality to our squad with Ronayne, he brings great experience both on and off the pitch. He's impressed us in training and fits the type of character we want and that's very important".

Please join us in welcoming Ronayne to the Club and we hope his time with us is successful and enjoyable

More good news coming out of the camp this evening as it has been announced that coach DAVID BRIDGES has also signed Southern League forms and will be registered as a player from this coming weekend.
