New Artificial Grass Pitch Works - Thank You to Mick George Ltd and HDC

New 3G Astro at St Neots Town FC

As most are aware we have now completed the new 3G installation at St Neots Town FC however suffice to say that most are not aware of the huge amount of effort and cooperation that has gone on behind the scenes to ensure that the club can continue to provide a first class facility for all footballers  both young and old to enjoy.

The club would firstly like to thank Mick George who gifted 50k via their Grantscape scheme towards the replacement of the carpet without which the project would never have got off the ground let alone have been completed.  This is not an isolated contribution from  Mick George who work with and support  a vast amount of local sports and community initiatives.

Thank you from everyone associated with St Neots Town FC.

The club would also like to thank Huntingdon District Council and in particular Martin Grey who's support over the last 12 months has been fantastic. Once again without Martin and Hunts DC the project to replace the 3G Astro would never have come to fruition.

These two partners have, together with the club and the money raised, ensured that football and the clubs gift of use initiative will continue to grow and expand at Rowley Park.

We would also like to announce that the club and Huntingdon District Council made a decision to gift the old Astro to several good causes.
