FA Wildcats Sessions for Girls Aged 5 - 11
Less than a month to go – BOOK NOW!
As part of St Neots Town Football Club's drive to support the local community, we are running a FA Wildcats Centre to support Girls getting into football.
The national FA programme will see 200 SSE Wildcats Girls’ Football Clubs opening throughout England this spring, each run in conjunction with the local County FA and their key partners. The move will provide girls aged from 5 to 11 with regular opportunities to play football and take part in organised sessions in a fun, engaging and safe environment over a minimum 16 week period.
The project is an integral part of The FA’s objective to double girls’ football participation by 2020 and has been established in a joint partnership between The FA and SSE, supporters of girls’ football participation and sponsor of the SSE Women’s FA Cup

“Girls of all abilities are welcome”
Following the success of the England Women's Team and This Girl Can programme inspiring girls nationally we have appointed a new Female Football Development Manager at the Club to push Girls Football - Tim has joined the team having previously worked for the FA and within the Elite Girls Talent Pathway, we hope this will be particularly useful on top of his knowledge from the men’s game.
Our aim will be that this opportunity will be open to a diverse range of girls, from those just starting out to others who may play in a team – by holding our sessions on a Friday we hope not to interfere with any club training sessions and won’t be looking as this as an alternative for those involved in grassroots football already.
Sessions will be based around the needs of young players and will focus on FUN, FRIENDS and FOOTBALL!
Our hope is that by providing accessible football, we are able to help girls be keen to play in the future in an environment suited to them.
“Girls & Women’s Football is key to ensuring we are able to provide for all looking to play in St Neots, our outstanding facilities and infrastructure give us an excellent base to do that but now it is time to turn some great ideas into a reality at St Neots Town FC” – Tim Sergeant (Female Football Development Manager)
